This pattern is for a larger sized bag that allows you to feature smaller pieces of your favourite fabric! There is a main centre panel that is 6 7/8" W x 8 1/4" H. You can use coordinating fabric for the side panels and either fabric or vinyl for the bag's bottom and top band. The pattern comes with instructions to make an adjustable cross body strap with a vinyl top side and a fabric underside however you can also use a single fabric to make the strap if you prefer.

The bag has a zippered closure however you can use a magnetic snap if you prefer (instructions not included for that).
On the inside of the bag, I give instructions to create a zippered pocket and 3 slip pockets.

Exterior fabric:
1 fat quarter accent panel fabric
1 fat quarter side panel fabric
1/2 yard vinyl for vinyl accents (or you can use fabric if you prefer)
Lining fabric:
1.25 yard cotton fabric
Interfacing:
3/4 yard woven fusible interfacing
1 yard fusible fleece
Notions and supplies:
(1) 8” zipper
(1) 16” handbag zipper (if using a metal zipper, use 14” zipper to avoid cutting)
(2) 1.5” rectangle ring or O-ring
(1) 1.5” rectangle slide
MEASUREMENTS:
17" W x 11" H x 5" D (Height is 9" at the zippered opening)
SEWING EXPERIENCE: This project is suitable for someone with intermediate sewing skills due to the zippered closure however it could be tackled by a confident beginner if using a magnetic snap closure. It is a rather quick project for a larger bag and it could be finished in 3-4 hours with a little practice.
