The Milkweed Tote is a large sized tote with 2 exterior slip pockets with magnetic closures. It has 2 handles sewn into the top edge of the exterior slip pockets and a removable cross body strap. There is a recessed zipper closure to keep your belongings secure. The oval bottom is easy to sew on and you can customize the number of purse feet to your liking - either 4 or 6. Inside the bag, you'll find a total of 4 pockets: 3 large slip pockets and 1 zippered pocket. Recommended materials for this bag are cork/vinyl for the exterior with a feature fabric for the exterior pockets. All lining pieces are in waterproof canvas.

SEWING EXPERIENCE: The Milkweed tote is suitable for confident beginners who want to follow along with the video tutorial (see below). Since there is very little interfacing if using the recommended materials, this tote does not take long to cut out the pieces. Sewing time is approximately 4-6 hours depending on your sewing experience.
