The Lunaria Satchel - PDF sewing pattern

The Lunaria Satchel is a medium sized cross body bag with plenty of pockets! This bag has a total of 7 pockets. On the exterior, it has one large zippered pocket built into the flap closure. On the front of the bag under the flap, there is one large slip pocket with 2 zippered on either side. Inside the bag, you'll find another 2 slip pockets and 1 zippered pocket. 

The flap is a generous size allowing you to feature one of your favourite fabrics. 

MEASUREMENTS: 

12” W x 9” H x 4” D (30.5 cm x 22.9 cm x 10 cm) 

SUPPLIES:

Exterior fabric: 

3/4 yard Exterior fabric 1 (44” W)
1/4 yard Exterior fabric 2 or vinyl/cork (54” W)

Lining fabric:

1.5 yard Lining fabric (44” W)

Interfacing:

5 yards Fusible woven interfacing (20” wide)**
13” W x 10” H Fusible fleece (45” wide)
8” W x 3.75” H Firm Sew-in Stabilizer (Pellon Peltex 70/Stiff Stuff interfacing)
1 yard Foam interfacing

Notions and Supplies:

(1) 12” zipper for main closure (or 13” of zipper tape)
(2) 7” zippers for exterior pockets (or 9” of zipper tape)
(1) 18mm magnetic snap
(2) 1.5” rectangle rings
(1) 1.5” rectangle slide
(1) 9” zipper for interior pocket
Optional: (4) purse feet, rivetsOther: double-sided tape or fabric glue, fabric pen, fray check
