Grommets / Eyelets - 12mm - NEW and IMPROVED!

Please read carefully as I've made improvements to the quality of the grommets. 

NEW AND IMPROVED:

• I've had the length of the post increased to accommodate thicker layers
• the thickness of the grommets overall has increased to make them stronger and the posts more resistant to splitting when they are set
• the washers are now WIDER so they are as wide along the front of the grommet making them much more secure and less likely to fall off. Please see photos for a view from the front and the back of the grommet once installed.

These grommets can be used in bag making as well as apparel. Grommets are most commonly used for drawstring bags or bags that cinch. They can also be used to reinforce the opening for a drawstring on an article of clothing.

SOLD IN A PACK of 20 GROMMETS AND MATCHING WASHERS. Currently only available in 12mm inner diameter.

IMPORTANT TIP:
Make sure that you properly reinforce the area where you will be installing grommets.

For bags, I recommend you have plenty of fusible interfacing and some sort of stabilizer (ex: Peltex, Decovil Heavy) at the location where you will be installing your grommets.

For apparel, I always add a small square patch of non fraying material such as cork or faux leather on the exterior and fusible interfacing on the wrong side of my fabric where I will be installing a grommet. This will prevent your grommet from being torn out of softer fabric such as knits.
