Coleus Bowler Bag - PDF sewing pattern

The Coleus Bowler bag is a medium sized bag with two top carry handles and a removable cross body strap. You can select from two different connector shapes or use your favourite metal strap connectors instead of cork/vinyl connectors. The bag has a zippered closure.
Inside the bag are 2 slip pockets and 1 zippered pocket.
The bag is structured using foam interfacing and it has a drop-in lining.

Exterior fabric:
1/2 yard Exterior fabric (44” W)1/3 yard Contrast fabric (44” W)
Lining fabric:
3/4 yard Lining fabric (44” W)
Interfacing:
2 3/4 yards (20” W) or 1 1/4 yards (45” W) Fusible woven interfacing8.5” W x 5” H Firm sew-in interfacing (ex: Peltex 70)
1 yard sew-in Foam interfacing (20” wide)
Notions and Supplies:
(1) 9” zipper or 11” zipper tape (#3, #4.5 or #5) (interior zipper pocket)

SEWING EXPERIENCE: The Coleus is an intermediate/advanced pattern and has a drop-in lining. It will probably take between 6-8 hours to make this bag.
