The Marigold iPad Messenger Bag - PDF Sewing Pattern

The Marigold iPad Messenger Bag - PDF Sewing Pattern

$12.00 CAD

Introducing the Marigold messenger bag: a medium sized iPad messenger bag! This bag has tons of pockets: on the outside of the bag under the flap there are 2 slip pockets perfect for phones and smaller items as well as 2 pen slip pockets. Inside the bag are 2 large slip pockets, 1 zippered pocket and 1 padded pocket for an iPad or small tablet/reader.

The strap is adjustable so the bag can be worn across the body or over one shoulder. I recommend making this bag in heavier fabrics such as home decor, canvas, denim, faux leather however it can be made with quilt weight cotton if desired. This is a more structured bag that uses a stiffer sew-in interfacing.

This is my first pattern that uses piping as an accent around the edge of the flap. The flap has a swivel clasp closure like many of my other patterns. The pattern also includes instructions on how to sew your own adjustable strap although you are free to use webbing if you like.
