Salvia Supply Stand - PDF sewing pattern
The Salvia Supply Stand is a small stand that can be used for a variety of purposes. It can hold: sewing supplies, craft supplies, art supplies and as you can see in the testing photos, gardening supplies! The possibilities are endless.
The stand resembles a school binder and closes with with a flap with velcro closures. When you open the stand, the velcro closures hold the stand in place. One side has 2 clear vinyl zipper pouches and the other side has customizable elastic loops to hold your items.
The stand is constructed in a way where the sides are well structured so it does not collapse.
Included in this pattern:
- a cutting chart and photos of the stand naming the various pieces
- pattern pieces for most pieces minus the pouch binding. There is an option to cut all pieces to measurement.

SUPPLIES:
Exterior fabric:
12” W x 25” H Exterior fabric (quilt weight cotton 43-44” W)
Lining fabric:
2/3 yard Lining fabric (44” W)10” x 10” of clear vinyl
Interfacing:
3/4 yard Fusible woven interfacing - lightweight (42-43” W)
2/3 yard Firm sew-in interfacing (ex: Peltex - 20” wide)
1/4 yard Fusible woven interfacing - heavyweight (44” W)
OR 1/2 yard Decovil light (17” wide)
Notions and Supplies:
(10) 6” craft sticks
(2) 10” zipper tape (#3, #4.5 or #5 will work)
4” of 1” wide hook and loop tape (velcro)
1 yard (36”) of 1/2” wide elastic
MEASUREMENTS: 10 1/4” W x 8 3/4” H x 3 1/4” D
SEWING EXPERIENCE: This pattern is best suited to an intermediate bag maker but confident beginners could probably manage while following along with the video tutorial. It will probably take around 4 hours to make this bag. The longest part is cutting, interfacing and preparation. Sewing the stand is quite fast.
