The Moonflower Tote bag - PDF Sewing Pattern
The Moonflower tote is a reverse applique tote suitable for the beginner bag maker. It’s a large sized tote with a magnetic snap closure. The exterior features a large reverse applique on the main panel(s) and smaller reverse appliques on the side pockets. The side pockets cinch closed with drawstrings. The interior of the Moonflower tote features a half moon slip pocket, a swivel clasp for hooking your keys onto.
The reverse appliques are perfect for featuring a focal fabric or a pieced design. The main panel applique shows a design 8” in diameter. The side pockets show a design 2.75” in diameter.

1/2 yard accent fabric
12” x 4.75” Vinyl for bottom
(2) 25” x 2.5” Vinyl for straps
1 yard quilt weight cotton
3 yards woven fusible interfacing (20” wide)
1 yard fusible fleece (40” wide)
12” x 4.75” Firm interfacing for Bottom (ex: Peltex or foam)
